I think showing your kids how to pray and why praying isn't just a routine will in time show them the essence of all things including heaven and earth and the difference between the two. Remember when God wants your kids to grow up they will grow up.

I think prayer is the perfect way to teach your children about the world. Praying not just a "daily prayer" but to actually pray to God for the things your grateful for and showing them how to thank God for those blessings will show them that the world isn't perfect especially when they reach maturity.

The Bible say's to pray for the peace of Jerusalem - It hasn't happened yet - it says your will be done on earth as it is in heaven - not happening yet - God will answer those prayers - just not yet there will come a day when heavens perfectness will come to earth - I's let them know some prayers are answered immeadiately some are in the process of being answered - But God will answer
