Picked up a recent copy of the NY Times, here’s what I noticed…

  1. Biological it is illogical. I guess this should undermine the manhood of men – as they cannot reproduce. Why is it that it is only christianity that is persecuted for teaching the truth about the sin of gay? To the best of my knowledge – all other religions do not support or approve same sex unions. Why are they not attacked? Or why do we not all join in union on this issue or would put us into the category ‘unequally yoked”?

Amen! What is so sad to me is I work with junior high students and I have been approached on more than one occasion on my feelings about gays, and because the students know that I am a christian and stood up publicly for prop 8 in CA, but we are sending confussing messages to our young ones, and if they don’t have a bible based family unit they are questioning what is “normal”. My prayers are for our youth, and we need to turn back to Jesus, re-establish the family unit with Christ.

  3. Amen! I have been looking to make sense of this issue. It really seems overwhelming to face the onslaught of the pro-homosexual public opinion presented by the liberal media. To love a person is a task in itself, especially when they are making choices that undermine a moral way of life. How to reach them with the freedom of the gospel is also a challenge. I may be wrong, but it seems to me that the underlying problem is rebellion, even rebelling against ones own natural sexual orientation.

  4. WEB SITE; GODWHOISGOD.COM IS A GOSPEL TRACT IN OVER 50 LANGUAGES FOR EVANGELISM TO MUSLIMS, HINDUS AND SIKHS FOR JESUS CHRIST. THANKYOU. JAMES AND HAMSA.

  5. Pastor Bob, thank you for sharing my heart, even though you didn’t know it! I came out of homosexuality in 1988 and have recently written a book, Love Flowed Down… It Was For Me, as part of the ministry God called me to in 2005. I found through Jesus, I absolutely could change (and did) from homosexual to heterosexual. Those who struggle and seek change can know there is a way out. Thank you for this post!

Hate the sin love the sinner – that’s God’s way – to invert that statement is to hate the person God died for – Amen pastor so many in the Christian community hate the person because their trapped in the sin – an are not in any way being the christian were supposed to be – no matter what the sin and how badly that sin has confuses the sinner it’s our job to submit to Christ’s Love and bring them to the God who would sacrifice everything for them – Thanks Pastor
