    I really liked this clip, I watched it a few times and had to think hard about it, the Idea of praying for tiger challenged me, SO I posted it on my facebook and of course got flamed by a few people who dont understand. are there any other clips that continue this line of thinking , possibly from an earlier service. the concept of praying for one who has fallen, even though he has sinned….?

    Hi Bill. Good question. It’s the idea that God can use anything in someone’s life to bring him/her into a relationship with Him. Here are a couple sermon excerpts that continue this thought:

    Hope it helps.

    I agree. This is very challenging. It’s so easy to judge and wonder what this man was thinking to make such decisions. But ultimately, I can’t imagine how much this grieves God. It’s not His heart to want to punish. But we reap what we sow. I pray this ordeal brings everyone involved close to Him.

    Wow! What a great challenge…and not the perspective you will ever hear in the mainstream media. I love the point Pastor Bob makes about how the Bible declares that none of us is righteous. Yet we always look at people that fall so publicly as if it’s not possible for any one of us…so the enemy!

  6. Once again Pastor Bob hits the nail on the head with some realistic theology – I have been blessed for 15 years plus with his realistic approach to our walk with God – No soft talk just good
    solid teaching. Well Done Pastor

  7. IDK, maybe I am different but I never had a problem with Tiger and his issues. I understand that any person in a situation of sin should be restored in kindness considering how we can fall in a simular manner. I heard people on tv say Tiger needed to apologize to the nation but his offense was not against us, it was against his wife and God. I really hope Jesus is revealed to Tiger more through this ordeal. I have messed up so much in my life, saved, going to church but a total wreck inside…

  8. I sang in the choir and was still very active in ministry. Needless to say, before I got married I slept around too, I considered myself a whoremonger. I had some serious issues and they were deep insecurities but instead of people trying to restore me they judged me too. I went to my Pastor and we had a serious talk and he gave me direction, I didnt think I could beat the struggle of fornication, it was like a monster was inside of me but God saved me and he can save Tiger too.

    Jesus said if you look upon a woman and lust you’ve committed adultery – Who can judge – whoever is without sin cast the first stone….. He needs prayer understanding reconciliation to Jesus – the way of the transgressor is hard – the Bible says, I guarantee he’s judging himself and going through more pain than can be imagined by those who would judge him – praying for his salvation – Thanks Pastor

    Thank God for His mercy, which we are all in need of. My prayer is for Tiger and his family and that he will from this come to an understanding of Jesus and His mercy.

  11. Tiger Woods is a very good golfer but his reputation as a cheating husband made him a bad character.’-;
