It was developed by God and must be made with God and followed out with God. I also beleive marriage is not for everyone. In the perfect environment we would be close enough to God that we would receive his love in full and be satisfied. Reading 1 Corinthians 7 a few times, it lead me (and also a lot of people) to believe Paul was never married. However, when I heard the history of Paul being part of the group he was part of, I found out he must have been married but was widowed but loved her so much to write with so much compassion about a marriage relationship. So much compassion that the book Love and Respect is based off of one verse. I just found out Paul was married at a time yesterday listening to Vernon McGee. It's so easy to get caught up in the "no one loves me" feeling when your single, but the truth is Jesus loves us and that is far greater than any person's love, which often fades anyway. If you're someone with a heart to love and do for others then focus that love on the one who deserves it and who loves you unconditionally - Jesus.
