Where does it talk about the ice age?

  2. Great stuff Bob. Thanks. I posted it on my link too.

  3. Emily

Hi Rose, here’s a web page from AnswersInGenesis.org that talks about the Ice Age. It mentions how a worldwide flood provides better conditions for an Ice Age that what secular scientists suggest (earth’s orbit changing). Pretty interesting…it makes sense to me, but read it for yourself.

    God bless.

Thanks Bob for posting this. I’ve been studying/teaching on Creation Science for years and I’m always excited when I see someone present it correctly! None of this theistic-evolution, “the behemoth is a hippo” or “the leviathan is a crocodile” business. Keep up the good work!

    Dear Pastor Bob,
I am a faithful Christian and I believe in the literal word of the Bible. However, I also believe in evolution and science. I have no problem believing in both. I don’t think we have to chose between the two.
The Bible probably did not need to deal with the dinosaur issue, because people at that time did not have to deal with dinosaurs. God wanted us to know about our evolution, the spiritual evolution of his people. That is why we have the book of Numbers. Science is great too.

    Pastor Bob:

I find it noteworthy that new things are discovered from time to time which upend previous scientific thought. The scientific community quickly changes gears without acknowledging that their former beliefs were wrong. For example, see http://www.csmonitor.com/2009/1001/p02s21-usgn.html. Here, a new discovery is seemingly instantly explained with authority, replacing previous scientific thought. Believing these types of scientific conclusions is shaky at best.

    Regards

Excellent, I have been wondering how to answer that question for SO long. Even before I became a Christian – it seemed like so much hinged on the dinosaur “evidence” – how could I believe in BOTH dinosaurs AND the Bible?
    Thanks Pastor Bob!

Great to hear this! I just visited a place called “Creation Museum” located in Kentucky, located right across the Ohio river from Cincinnati into Ky. This museum shows everything in Genesis, including the dinosuors. Very awesome and interesting to see and visit..Explains everything in video, wax people, the whole story..A must see and is very popular there! The city tried to close its doors, but was unable..Praise God!

  9. You go, Bro. Praise God.
Hitting the nail right on the head.

  10. Nancy

There is evidence of bones of animals and prehistoric man, one thought is when God turned His back on Lucifer and his angels it created the ice age which killed off both beast and prehistoric man, hence go and RE plenish the earth.

Bob, about a year ago I bought a book from our bookstore entitled “The Young Earth” by Morris. This book is awfully good. It stands for the proposition that the actual scientific data fits the creationist scenario better than the evolutionary one. Our view is based on the unerring word of God. Evolution is based on an hypothesis only, which is not supported by the data.Creation scientists are re-doing many scientific tests and finding that evolutionists have ignored or mistated the obvious.

  12. Regarding the idea that dinosaurs may have existed more recently than many scientists have believed, consider this article: “Dinosaur blood extracted from bone”, from WorldNetDaily at

I just attended a Worldview Ministeries program last night at a local church and heard Dr. Ron Carlson (Christian Ministeries International) speak on this topic. It was wonderful, timely and biblical. He has spoken all over the world at major universities defending creation. Here is a link to his website and a dvd of his presentation : http://www.christianministriesintl.org/resources.html . Enjoy.

Thank you Pastor Bob, It’s great to receive confirmation.

I to was asked by my sons, so I did what any good Christian should do when you have NO CLUE what to say. I cried out to God for help! And he directed me to Job 41. I wasn’t sure what the passage described the first time I had read it, but as I read it that day to my sons it was clear.

And all parents can appreciate when we have those little victories in Christ, where we can bring our teenagers to utter silence. God is GOOD!

I don’t know Pastor Bob, i work at a bank and i’ve seen people behave like animals when it comes to money, in which case the Darwin theory might be the closest to describe part of the evolution and human behavior at one point. The Bible is not specific either about life in other planets, but the fact that our mighty God had chosen Earth to create man,and that we are the only planet in the entire universe with the blessing to have a relationship with Him should be more than enough to our faith!

Thanks pastor BOB!!! We are a homeschooling family and we love Answers in Genesis too! they have great curriculum for homeschooling and christian schools. We need to all read God’s Word without any outside influence of MAN’s opinion. Man wasn’t there, but God was and it happened like He SAID it did and not how man THINKS it did. Evolution is ANTI GOD because it undermines HIS WORD!!! Black and White issue. Thanks for your ministry, we love you!!! KEEP THE FAITH!!

  17. Andrew

According to the Bible, which as Christians, we are supposed to believe every word in it because it is without error in its original manuscripts, it tells us that there was no such thing as a “physical death” before Adam and Eve sinned in the garden and brought death into the world. So before the fall of man, there was no such thing as death. Therefore no people or animals could die before Adam and Eve sinned, which in turn means that we did live with Dinosaurs. Because nothing had died!

  18. Andrew

Also, everything that was living on the earth before the flood was vegetarian! Meaning dinosaurs would have eaten plants and trees. Did you know that the average size of all dinosaurs, is the size of a barnyard chicken? Only a few types we very large at all. We need to be doing our own research for truth instead of taking what is put in our Agenda Driven Text Books by “BLIND FAITH”! Study to show thyself approved!

  19. Chris

Seeing as how we are bombarded by evolution on a daily basis, from our schools, TV, and “smart” guys all over the world, I am always glad to hear pastors address the issue. Thank you.

PS You look different than you sound on the radio :)

  20. Angela C

Dear Pastor Bob, I think your video regarding Dinosaurs is right on target. I have done some research and conclude with your theory and findings. My children asked me that question when I was first saved and it was important to me to give them food for thought on the subject. Love your websites and ministry. You truly assist many in changing and saving lives one soul at a time. My prayers and thoughts are with you all always. PS: Mrs. Coy is also such a Blessing to us women.

  21. Dana

Hi Pastor Bob et al…………evolutionists say that the geological layers were put down over millions and millions of years. How can they explain the many polystrata fossils, such as petrified trees, which are embedded in the layers and stand perpendicular to these layers which represent so many millions of years? Also, what caused the Ice Age to go away? There were no cars or factories around to cause global warming. God is in control.

  22. Richard

Nancy, MAN is that which God created, therefore what you refer to and that which evolutionist refers to as prehistoric man is not MAN but an animal.
    .
Virginia; Can you not see the contradiction? God created as he said he did or everything evolved from nothing, it can’t be both. Also it has never been a choice between Faith and science. It is what science you believe in. That of God or Man. Man’s has an objective is to dispute the existence of God, causing people to be lost. It is spiritual warfare at its root.

  23. veronica

That was awesome! I have these discussions sometimes with my non-believing husband. Thanks for the direction in Scripture!

  24. THANK YOU PASTOR BOB! I WISH I HAD THIS WHEN MY BROTHER WAS HERE – TO PLAY IT FOR HIM – I REALLY NEED TO DO MY HOMEWORK!

  25. Virginia

    Dear Pastor Bob,
Yes, science has new discoveries that up end previous theories. That is great. Science continues to do research until it solves problems. We owe so much to science from medicine, space, genetics. It does not matter what fossils they find, my belief in God, Jesus is unshakable. I am a strong proponent of science because it is given to us by God. He gave us a brain to explore his magnificent universe, he gave us a heart and soul to know him. One does not cancel out the other,

  26. Virginia

    Dear Richard,
I believe God created us. I believe God created everything. God also created his creatures to evolve and adapt to the world we live in. That is why people have different skin colors. They evolved to adapt to the climates. Plants adapt and evolve, look at the virus, it adapts and evolves in order to live. God does all this in his glorious kingdom. God did not put atomic equations in the bible, but they exist by his will. God did not list the recipe for penicillin, but we found it.

  27. KFOR777

    Hey Everyone,
I’d like to know if anyone has heard of the GAP theory? It says that there is a gap of perhaps billions of years between Genesis 1:1 and verse 2 which says NOW the earth was without form… They say that the bible picks up at end of a worldwide flood prior to Noah’s, and that maybe God has flooded the earth many other times before that. I think it’s an interesting theory. The bible was written for us now. God doesn’t need to tell us ALL the history of this creation.

  28. Virginia

    Dear Kfor777,
That’s my point. There are many things that we have discovered that are not in the bible. DNA is one of them, the study of brain chemistry and behavior, the science of space and exploration, evolution. God gave us a brain, he wants us to think. If he put everything in the Bible you would not live long enough to read the whole thing. I am not afraid or worried about what science discovers. My faith is strong and it always will be no matter what science discovers. Science is great.

You should check out the Museum of Creation Evidences in Glen Rose Texas. They have fossilized dinosaur prints together with human prints intersecting them.
