Amen Pastor Bob! I’ve listened to several of your sermons on this topic, and I agree with your point. The folks that subscribe to the “coexist doctrine” are very dangerous. If they are “Christians”, they don’t really know what they believe or what they should believe.
My prayer is the same as yours that these “religions” have the truth exposed to what they really believe; that they don’t worship the one and true God. Jesus is the son of God and He is our Savior.

Amen! There is only ONE WAY..Jesus Christ. The Way, The Truth, and the Life..
Men hunger for the broad road..but if we are going to make it to heaven we will have to travel on the narrow road.

Thank you Pastor Bob for your message. There are so many people that I run into with the same concept..co-exist together. My friend invited me to church. Good thing I asked what type of church. All religions come together to worship their own god. She said they preach love only not negative things. She didn’t want to hear about..the Way, the Truth and the Life. Only Christ can bring us all to coexist together in peace not religion. Will continue to follow your tweets!

It really depends what we mean by “coexist”. Christians really do allow others to coexist. We give people the truth and allow them to make up their own minds (except the Crusades & Spanish inquisition). Once we have shared, it is up to Holy Spirit and the will of the person to accept what we have shared.
Islam, on the other hand, cannot coexist with any other group because, in many places, their conversion takes place under the threat of the sword.
People can coexist. Beliefs, as truth, cannot.

Wow, thank you for the explanation, one that I can understand and then explain if the situation presents itself.

There will be peace in the Kingdom of God. Until then, the Qu’ran directs obedient Muslims to engage in jihad and eradicate the infidels. Until then, Jews are still waiting for the Messiah who has already come. I can’t see all groups coexisting peacefully when each is so radically different. The goal of some of these groups is world domination, and we are getting closer each day (thus the bumper sticker). One day, praise God, every knee shall bow and every tongue will confess Jesus Christ!

Praise the Lord!! ” I’ve read the book, I know who wins…” Forgot who said that but I think Praasch… Anyway WE, I AM, WINS!!

In full agreement with this video! I made a post on my blog very recently exposing Islam and a Muslim (of course) basically told me that I was a hypocrite because Christians are supposed to be nice and yet I am “hating” on Islam and I am supposed to respect other’s religions. She doesn’t know what Christianity is really about.

I may be missing something here. The term coexist doesn’t mean that all religions must follow the same doctrine. I think it stands more that each religion can exist in the same world in peace (coexist verb “exist at the same time or in the same place or exist in mutual tolerance despite different ideologies or interest).
I believe it is my duty to spread the word of the bible. However, should we push and break down the concept of coexistence we have ourselves not followed in Christ teachings.

Thank you! for this simple, yet powerful explanation to the question “Do all roads lead to God?” There is only one God, and only one way to him. All mentioned faiths do not agree on this premise, so we cannot be brothers in that sense.Jesus died for all of humanity, but not all people believe this. This my belief, so I don’t accept the Q’ran as a holy book or truth, New Age movement w/ their demonic Spirit guides, or the so-called gods of other beliefs, which is nothing more than idolatry.

I am sharing this often on twitter, to help get the good news out. I found it a good forum to reach people with the truth. I have been envolved w/ other Christians who feel called in the same way, and are trying to reach the many Atheists out there. I had no idea there were so many, it has been an eye opening experience. I have looked for many such links to tweet, sending them to known unbelievers. Thank you for your ministry,& dedication, reaching out to a lost & desperate world.God bless you!

Pastor Bob, I have read and agree with you in part; we can co-exist with people of different faiths. I agree there is One True God, I am a christian, I thank and praise God every day for revealing Himself to me and adopting me into His “family.” Having said that, I also know that there are “good & evil” in every facet of life. That God speaks to each of His children individually in their own ability to understand Him in their circumstances. God knows all of His children by name, I don’t.

Two people went to the place of prayer to pray. One a born again Christian and the other a Muslim activist.
The Christian went straight into the holy of holies, lifted her hands and prayed: “Thank you Father that I am not like that Muslim over there. I believe all the right things about Jesus and God and the Bible and heaven and hell and other religions and everything.”
The muslim bowed down low facing east “God have mercy on me, a sinner.”
Which of them do you think went away justified?

Every time I see that bumper sticker, I think the same thing. Truth be told, we all already to “coexist.” I am existing as a follower of Christ at the same time a follower of Mohammed is alive. So technically we do “coexist.” I know they want us to buy into, “can’t we all just get along?” The problem as you mentioned is that there are too many differences in the “inspired” words of each that contradict. That utopia they want won’t happen until heaven.

I had a couple thoughts to share about this. First and foremost, Christ taught that the right path is very strict and difficult and only a FEW will find the right path. I believe the right path is more difficult than commonly perceived. With that said, I believe everyone must be careful with this belief. The belief of being on the only true path can lead to pride, intolerance and bigotry. We are to love everyone despite their beliefs, to coexist, but we don’t accept their beliefs as correct.

In response to Mark CE: your story is an adaptation of Jesus’ parable about the Pharisee and tax collector in Luke 18. In John 14:6 Jesus also said, “I am the Way, the Truth and the Light. No one come to the Father but through me.”
Knowing the truth doesn’t mean arrogance. What others see as ‘narrow-minded’ we see as grace: God loves us so much He wanted to make sure there was one way we can have salvation and go to heaven-so there’s no confusion about it. Christians just want everyone to know.

In response to Tina: John 1:12 says “But to all who did accept Him and believe in Him He gave the right to become children of God.”
God loves the whole world that He gave His Son to die (John 3:16). But the whole world does not believe. Only those who believe in Jesus are called children of God. Also, God is not the author confusion but of peace (1 Cor 14:33). There is only one truth, He has stated it in the Holy Bible and commands us to share His truth with others with love. God bless you.

In response to Shaun E: If are wholly submitted to the Lord and allowing Him to speak into every area of our lives–He will make certain that any pride in our hearts is dealt with to bring us to humility where He can use us as His ambassadors. We are to love–but many times we just judge people. But we also have to remember that loving others sometimes means telling them the truth-even if it hurts. And sometimes, no matter how nicely you say it-some people just dont want to hear they’re wrong.

In resp to Emily,TY for the blessing, you r corr in your ref to script, however you cant ignore some script to justify the denying rights of others to worship God peacefully in their own understanding. You forget the parbl of the worker hired in the 11th hr; when God calls, is not for you determine. You also forgot, you cant judge what is in a person’s heart. Finally and most importantly, no one can judge at all, that is up to God.They will know we r Christians by our love.God Bless U!

I think the disagreement in responses here emphasize your point. As an important side note though one must remember that “When a man’s ways are pleasing to the LORD, He makes even his enemies to be at peace with him.” Prov. 16.7

The coexist is to promote peace and harmony. The conflicts that arise from any singularity is that they are all blinded by their faith. Every one religion has a fault as well as it’s paradise. It is we the people who act on it. Those who wish to accept other people’s relationship with God (no matter from what book) it is theirs to believe. To tell people their faith is wrong and yours is correct leads to conflict.
Rochelle O
!No, I do not believe that they can coexist. That is the reason why there are so many different religions in this world. If they could then we would only have one religion, serving one God. There would be “No” religious wars. And everyone would be free to serve God openly. God gives us choices and that includes a choice to not religiously coexist.
Richard
Mark CE: The one justified is the one in Christ. One is only justified thru Christ, by accepting Him as Gods Son, and man’s savor. God does not see “his” the justified as sinners, our sin “yesterday, today, and tomorrow” was forgiven. Therefore a believer in Christ (Christian) is justified thereby able to walk into Gods Holy of Holies (his presents), not as a sinner but as a Saint. The Muslim still yet to except Christ is still lost, still a sinner, unjustified.
.
Pastor Bob’s is spot on point. Why would a GOD who created all “he’s really smart” send his creation “man” different road maps to him?????? He didn’t “No one goes to the father except through him” Jesus the “Christ”. That is Gods message that is THE message of the Christian.
.
“Coexist” meaning live together YES. Peacefully would like to! My experience is that the message behind the bumper sticker is really a slam on Faith, by atheist.

Thank you for the truth!
