Pastor Bob,
Changing God’s word to fit our lifestyle is so common in today’s world. I loved your message, no your thoughts, I mean what God laid on your heart.
I use to listen to you every morning but we no longer have you on in our area.
In His Grace,
Tammy

Great topic to cover. Even as a Christian, I catch myself trying to find the “correct” way to label things in public. It’s one thing to be sensitive to others, but my goodness, if common sense communication offends the person behind me in a line, who’s really at fault?

DUDE…PREACH IT TILL THE DEVIL SAYS “OUCH”!

So true Pastor Bob! Trying to keep up with the Jones’ in terms of slang, is exhausting and confusing!! I’ll stick to using the Word to describe things, thank you!

It’s funny how Jesus, John the Baptist etc… were never politically correct just said the truth when needed – it would be so much better if people would just say what they mean in truth with love …

That’s so true! Watering down the truth has been an effective scheme of the enemy. As was the case in Ezra’s day when men of Israel were married to woman of other nations the enemy was trying to water down the blood line . Likewise today when we have many different translations of God’s word often times the translation can detract from the truth of the Word.
